​We are looking for a receptionist with presence, professionalism, and people power. 

​Someone who can juggle ringing phones, restocking paperclips, and reassuring anxious walk-ins, all with calm, confidence, and a sharp outfit.

​You will be the Alpha gatekeeper and a critical force in keeping our office running like a high-performance engine.

Job Responsibilities: 

    • Be Alpha Direct’s office gatekeeper-welcome visitors, answer the switchboard, direct traffic (the human kind), and manage enquiries..
    • Support the wider Admin team with logistics, scheduling, and high level problem solving.
    • Maintain meeting rooms and reception like your reputation depends on it, because it does.
    • Ensure our office stock never run dry, anticipate needs before they arise as per EOQ requirement.
    • Follow visitor and security procedures with quiet precision (and a smile).
    • Be the kind of teammate who others describe as “a life-saver” at least twice a week.
    • Ensure the reception area, foyer and other office spaces are neat and tidy
    • Always maintain a high level of personal presentation
    • Coordinate general enquiries that are made in person, by phone, or over email and escalate complex queries to the appropriate Supervisors or Managers
    • Provide administrative and logistical support to all departments.  
    • Perform clerical or administrative duties as needed
    • Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
    • Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    • Proficient use of Technology and Telephone systems
    • Must follow safety and security procedures.

Experience:

    • Post Secondary Education in Administration, Secretarial or related field 
    • Demonstrate proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to; MS Office.
    • Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license
    • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a customer centric environment
