​Key Responsibilities

​Technical Support

          • Provide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, and common business applications.
          • Diagnose and resolve user issues promptly while maintaining excellent customer service.
          • Configure and prepare computers and devices for new and existing users.
          • Install, update, and maintain software to ensure systems remain secure and operational.
          • Support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and user account management.
          • Assist with Active Directory administration, including account creation, password resets, and user access management.
          • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, including wired and wireless connections.

​IT Asset Management

          • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, accessories, and software licenses.
          • Record the allocation, movement, and retirement of IT assets.
          • Assist in obtaining quotations from suppliers for IT equipment and services.
          • Ensure IT asset records remain accurate and up to date.

​Systems & Infrastructure Support

          • Assist with routine monitoring and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure.
          • Support software deployments, system upgrades, and IT improvement projects.
          • Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and support activities.
          • Assist in preparing the monthly IT operational report.

​What We are Looking For

​We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering reliable IT support.

​The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

          • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
          • Good understanding of computer hardware, software, and basic networking concepts.
          • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows operating systems.
          • Familiarity with Active Directory and basic user administration.
          • Awareness of cybersecurity best practices and data protection principles.
          • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
          • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
          • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to continuous improvement.

​Qualifications

          • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
          • Professional certifications such as CCNA, Networking Essentials, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
          • Introductory cybersecurity certifications or security awareness training will also be advantageous.
          • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

​Reporting To: Head of Information Technology (with a dotted reporting line to the Principal Officer)
