ROLE SUMMARY
Alpha Direct Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that enhance business decision-making.
You will collaborate with various teams, including underwriting, claims, operations, and leadership, to analyze data, uncover trends, and facilitate informed decisions throughout the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the guidance of the relevant leadership team, you will be responsible for the following including, but not limited to:
- Use the best available tools to extract, clean, transform and analyse data across our insurance portfolio, including underwriting, claims, and operational datasets.
- Build dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility into business performance, and apply sound judgement to ensure the insights are practical and useful.
- Identify trends, patterns, risks and opportunities hidden within large datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
- Work closely with leadership and operational teams to turn raw data into information that supports better business decisions.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) across the organisation to support strategic and operational improvements.
- Continuously evaluate how data is used across the business and challenge the status quo by proposing smarter ways to analyse and use information.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or a related analytical field or no degree with the right drive.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets , digital tools and Data Sets.
- Ability to interpret data and communicate insights
